SICK AGAIN

Just a quick entry while Lydia is taking a nap. She's been sick since Thursday, but today is a little better. She's had goopy eyes, fever, cough and runny nose....poor thing! She's pretty much slept 24-7 for 3 days. This morning she was actually up for a whole hour before going back to bed. No pictures today cause it looks like she's been punched in both eyes. Say a little prayer that we get better and stay better very soon!

Handprints or Footprints?

We poured a new patio in our backyard, and we wanted to get Lydia's handprints in it. She would have nothing to do with putting her hands in there, so...

we went for the footprints instead. She was much more willing to do this.

Mother's Day

Daddy and Lydia went shopping together on Friday for Mommy's Mother's Day gift. They picked out some hot pink rubber boots so I can do chicken chores and some beautiful flowers. Pretty creative! It was such a nice day that we enjoyed the outdoors and then had my family over for dinner. The kids enjoyed playing on the new patio, and the adults enjoyed the new sidewalk...instead of dirt, plywood and some rocks (that was our old sidewalk)! It was a great first Mother's Day!

New Family Picture

We don't have many family pictures, but some of our friends took this for us a few weeks ago. We went out to dinner and then took a little walk around Metamora. Lydia LoVeS being outside!
