A Little Dirt Never Hurt

Well...As you can see from the pictures, Lydia enjoyed herself while planting flowers with Daddy! She really didn't eat much for breakfast or lunch, but she was very much into eating the dirt....YUCK! I handled it pretty well...she's bound to be a dirty country girl, so I guess I better get used to it!?!?

FYI~She has 7 teeth now. She thinks crawling and then belly flopping onto the floor is SOOO funny. She is quite musical...she bounces when she hears music and sings along during church. One of her favorite things to do is empty drawers, cupboards, baskets, etc. and then move on to something else. She loves when Mommy hides under the blanket so she can find her. She has just started holding her hands out to people if she wants to go to them...especially Daddy when he comes home. She is very good at waving bye-bye and we are working on giving kisses!

The Wettstein Farm

Last Thursday we got 10 chicks, 2 baby turkeys, 2 baby geese and 2 baby ducks!! These are some pictures of Daddy showing them to me for the first time. I was pretty impressed and wanted to get my hands all over them...mainly squeeze them! They are currently living on our porch, but will soon be headed to the barn.....

Happy Easter

Daddy got me these very pretty tulips for Easter! He says we are going to plant them together for Mommy. I'm sure I'll be a very big help! He got Mommy a red rose too! We were both excited about getting flowers from Daddy.

We had a wonderful Easter. We had my grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins come to church with us....that was pretty exciting cause I usually don't have much family at church with me. Then we went to Great Grandpa and Grandma Kamp's for lunch. Great Grandma gave me a little Easter basket full of goodies. Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Wettstein's for dinner. I was the only baby there, so I got SPOILED!! Then I fell and hit my mouth on their wood burning stove. That hurt cause my top teeth went through my bottom lip. Mommy gave me lots of love and I was soon off again!! What a great day of celebrating Jesus' rising from the dead! Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice on the cross! We are thankful that those who know and love you can some day be with you in heaven!!

New Playset

Lydia got this playset given to her, so we thought we'd try it out on Saturday. She loved it. She went down the slide and then she just sat at the bottom and hung out!
