Truck Show

Ed took Lydia and I to the truck show at the Civic Center a few weeks ago. She was content looking at all the trucks and people! Lydia thought Randy and Clyde's trucks were pretty cool. You can barely see her next to these two big rigs!

On another note...Lydia is finally feeling better after a week of being a very sick little girl. She started off with an ear infection and high fever and then went into diarhea and crying all day and night long. We've been to her pediatrician twice and they are running some tests. They think she has/had something called Campylobacter Jejuni which is a bacterial infection and shows itself with diarhea, fever, and stomach pains. This would explain why we could not comfort her when she was crying. On a positive note...today she is acting much more like her happy self! We are very thankful to be through this and appreciate all who have been praying for her!

A Gift For Daddy

We bought Daddy some sunflower seeds while we were out shopping. He loves to eat them while he's drivin his rig! Lydia didn't think they made such an interesting toy.

New Rubber Ducky

My cousin Amy sent Lydia this rubber ducky bathtub. (We haven't redone the bathroom yet, and I forbid to put her in that old nasty tub!) We kept it in her room for a few days to see what she would think. She loved playing in it, so we gave her a bath in it and she thinks it's pretty cool! It's just her size.

Lydia is working on getting her two top teeth, so we've had some long nights. Overall, she's doing very well....still as happy as can be! I'm stilling putting her on the big girl potty and she continues to go each time. I've only changed a few dirty diapers in the past week....it's GREAT!

Cooking Classes by Lydia....Any Takers?!?

Cousin Lily stayed over last week and the girls made pancakes and pudding for Lydia's birthday! (That's what I was told!) Yummy....I'm sure it will still taste delicious in June?!?!?
