We hope everyone had a very blessed Christmas! We enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and most importantly celebrating the birth of our Savior. Lydia enjoyed getting a lot of attention everywhere we went. We spent Christmas Eve day at my grandpa and grandma Kamp's house and then attended the candlelight service at church at 9:00 that night. Lydia slept through most of it, but when she did wake up, she wanted to get her hands on the candles! On Christmas morning Lydia gave Daddy his present (a book he wanted), and then we headed to my parents. Lydia got some new clothes, John Deere pajamas and a swing for the tree this spring. We then headed out to Ed's parents for the evening and enjoyed yummy soup and playing with all of the cousins and aunts and uncles. We were sure tired after all the holiday activities!

Lydia was 6 months old on the 20th...my how time flies! She got her first tooth on the 19th, sits up on her own, and is almost crawling. She gets up on all fours, but hasn't gotten the whole hang of it yet, which is just fine with us! She manages to get pretty much wherever she wants to go by scooting around. We are enjoying her very much and thank God for her every day!
